Keratoconus Group: Community Guidelines

We invite you to submit your videos, photos, articles, and comments in certain areas of our website, forums, and social media channels. It is our hope that you will take the opportunity to contribute to these interactive forums and share your original content with our community.

To create the best experience for everyone, and to keep these forums enjoyable and interesting for all of our users, we ask that you follow the rules outlined below. By submitting content for our website, in our communities, and on our social media channels, you are consenting to these rules:

✔️ You agree not to submit inappropriate content. All shared contents must be related to keratoconus or eye health. Promotional and fundraising material are not allowed. Posts about or originating from other websites, communities, groups and social media pages are discouraged and may be removed.

✔️ You will not post content that contains credible threats or hate speech, content that targets private individuals to degrade or shame them, personal information meant to blackmail or harass someone, or send unwanted messages.

✔️ You agree that you are fully responsible for the content that you submit. You also understand and agree that we are not responsible for any user submitted content.

✔️ You certify that you are at least 13 years of age. If there are any individuals under the age of 18 in any photos, video, or other content that you submit, you must obtain the permission of each such individual’s parent or legal guardian prior to submitting the content.

✔️ You only share contents that you have created or have the right to share. You also certify that you have the permission of others who have contributed to or are featured in any content that you submit.

✔️ When providing recommendations on Facebook group, follow Facebook's style! If possible, @ mention doctors' Facebook profile or their page. Links to third-party websites and "referral lists" will be removed.

✔️ You understand and agree that the information shared on our Facebook and Reddit communities is intended solely for general educational purposes. Our forums are not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider prior to starting any new treatment or with any questions you may have regarding your medical condition. You acknowledge and agree any use and/or reliance on any information obtained through the interactive forums at your own risk.
