  1. I wish people understood how the ghosting and halos make it near impossible to drive at night.

  4. That sometimes it takes me longer to look for things and I miss a lot of details. Also if I put my hands over my eyes for a few minutes, I'm not upset. My eyes are just strained and need a break from the light.

  5. It's not like we ignores you or we just can't see your face clearly and so can't recognize you...

  7. KC reduced my activity level completely.. which ended up changing my personality completely. Before KC I was always optimistic, agter KC I have become a pessimist and sometimes depressed. People really do not understand how an eye disease can alter your personality this way, but it can. But it is also getting better again, now after I got the right type of lenses after 14 years time.

  8. Because the lenses tend to feel horrible I only wear them when I have to. Every other day I wear my glasses which aren't as good as before I was diagnosed but nonetheless are better than my naked eye. I wish people could understand that just because I am wearing glasses doesn't mean I can see clearly especially when I have told you 100 times about my condition.

  10. That no, I can't be ready in five minutes, if you need me to see! I have to put contacts in, wait for the tearing to stop, then reinsert cause it picked up eye crud! Yes, I must take my plunger, eye drops, lens case and mirror with me every Time! Yes I need dark shades, rain shades or wind shades depending on the conditions and they change daily in Tennessee.
